I strongly recommend a rehearsal – that’s why it’s included in my services! The goal is to make sure that everyone in your wedding party is as relaxed, informed, and confident as possible on your wedding day.

If your venue is not available for a rehearsal, consider a meeting space (even Zoom!) where we can talk through the main elements of the wedding ceremony (processional, exchange of rings, etc.), review cues and pacing, and (if possible) practice walking down a mock aisle, standing in line, etc.

After we meet and you decide to book me, I prepare a contract and provide you with instructions for online payment. I ask for a deposit at the time that the contract is signed, and I ask for the remaining balance at least three (3) days before the date of your wedding ceremony.

You and your partner will apply for the marriage license, and I will return it to the issuing jurisdiction after the ceremony.  The specifics of where (and when) you should get the license from may vary depending on which State you are getting married in, but I will guide you through the process.

All couples’ timelines and circumstances are different, and I will work with you if I’m available!  In general, however, it is not uncommon for couples to book their officiant (and other vendors) between 1-2 years before the date of their wedding ceremony.

My goal is to keep my wedding officiant services reasonable and affordable.  There are a host of factors that will determine my total fee, including the date, time, and location of your wedding ceremony.  Contact me for a no-obligation virtual consultation!
